Dark-necked Tailorbird < Back
The Dark-necked Tailorbird, Orthotomus atrogularis, they are small (12cm) , tropical, insectivorous birds found from Thailand to Singapore and into the Greater Sundas. The Tailorbirds get their name from sewing their nests out of living leaves. They are found in mangroves, swampy forests and coastal scrub.
